In 1940, our founder, Mr. T.V.S. Chandran, embarked on an journey, transforming from a humble bullock cart rider to an entrepreneur. He ventured into lorry services (SCLS) and food products, introducing the beloved brand ‘CHINNAMMAN’.

Decades later, in 1980, his eldest son, Mr. T.V.S. Babu, revolutionised the business by innovating in rice manufacturing and trading, giving rise to TVS Rice Traders. The next generation, led by Mr. Gowtham Babu, son of Mr. T.V.S. Babu and Mrs. Jayanthi Babu, propelled the company forward with a focus on branding and marketing. He successfully launched products like ‘CHINNAMMAN’, ‘SUSEE’S Traditional’ & ‘GOWTHAM’, showcasing the company’s expertise in rice and millet-based offerings.

Today, we proudly uphold our traditional family values, built on transparency, hospitality, professionalism, and social responsibility. Our legacy continues to inspire and guide us as we move forward.
